AISE2019 marked a crucial step forward in ALMA International’s evolution and growth. Starting in 2019, AISE moved to June and just prior to InfoComm.
AISE will be held in Orlando, in June on odd years, and will return to Las Vegas in June on even years.
Why are we making this change?
- Moving AISE away from the difficult travel time between New Year and CES will make travel easier and less stressful.
- Travel and accommodations are generally less expensive in June.
- Direct flights to Orlando from key airports in Europe.
- InfoComm will be a collaborative partner in our event, and ALMA will continue to participate in InfoComm.
- The opportunity to attract Pro Audio participants and more diverse audio and audio related segments.
- Orlando is an amazing vacation destination city. Bring the family and turn a fun business trip into a family adventure!
ALMA is excited about this change for the benefit of our Members and Exhibitors. As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome.
Watch for announcements and developments as this dynamic step forward takes shape for our Members and your Association.
Content is king at AISE, and ALMA consistently draws praise for the quality and quantity of Business, Technical, and Educational content. AISE2019 will be no exception. ALMA is pleased to offer all Seminar, Papers, and Forum presenters a FREE 1 day All Access Pass which includes breakfast and lunch as a Thank-you for your contributions to AISE2019!

ALMA Member Credits ALMA & AISE for Landing His “Dream Job”
When I am asked where I work, I can honestly say I work at my dream job. It always takes me a moment after, but I get the biggest smile on my face when I realize that I *really do* have my dream job! Acoustics is my passion and I was halfway through college before I realized I could make a career from it. After attending ALMA’s signature event, AISE (ALMA International Symposium & Expo) a few years in a row I was encouraged to make a presentation at next year’s event. The presentation turned into a wonderful panel discussion on the future of car audio where I shared the stage with some great thinkers in the industry. I represented the DIY and hobbyist community during the discussion since I have been heavily involved in the community for many years. Employers in the audience quickly noticed that I was thoughtful, passionate, and articulate, I quickly received offer letters from two companies for a summer internship that year. I spent the summer in a state on the other side of the country from my home town, in complete disbelief that I was getting paid to play with speakers. People say if your job is your passion you will never work a day in your life, and I can confirm this is true. I am now a product design engineer at Eminence Speaker Company in Kentucky.  It sounds cheesy but I truly believe ALMA was the missing link between the song in my heart and my dream job, and I am so fortunate and thankful to have found it!Â

NEW! AISE Room Sharing for ALMA Student Members*
Â
For information on room sharing with other student attendees at the Doubletree hotel in Orlando Florida, contact Aaron Lutzo at:
alutzo@rockets.utoledo.edu
Please include your name in your email and express interest in sharing a room with a couple other students. This is a good opportunity for the student members to work together and save themselves some of the cost associated with attending AISE by splitting up the price of a room for the weekend.
*This program is not administered by ALMA, however it is supported by ALMA
